Mentors are required to approve abstracts submitted to SNCURCS. In 2021, abstract submission will take place via Smartsheet. There will be an automatic email generated from the system that alerts the mentor to approve or disapprove an abstract. This notification may go into your Junk Mail folder, so please be on the lookout for it. Students should alert the mentor when the abstract is submitted as the notification should follow immediately. If it does not arrive and is not in your Junk Mail folder, please email SNCURCSAbstracts@catawba.edu with the subject line SNCURCS.
The deadline for mentor approval of student abstracts is Oct. 18, 2021 at 11:59 p.m.
During this process, mentors may:
- Approve the abstract as submitted (no changes)
- Reject the abstract. If reject is chosen, the student will need to submit another version for approval.
Once the abstract is approved by the mentor it is locked and can no longer be accessed by the student nor the mentor.
